ABout sarah
After a three year hiatus to run a successful business and raise her son, Sarah Westbrook returns to the world of photography and video. Now residing in the North East, Sarah is available for commercial video and photography all over the UK.
Sarah has hundreds of published written and photographical works in several continents including Asia, Australia and America. She started her career studying photography and marketing in London, UK and trained as a photojournalist in the UAE and Australia.
Sarah is seasoned in project management and has written, directed, produced, edited, filmed, and gained financing for several short films including Murray Darlings and Wilderness Jeweller which garnered over 20,000 views. She won two awards at film festivals.
A lover of nature, Sarah prioritises projects that promote conservation and the natural world and is constantly adding to her skill-set in this area.
Software
Sarah is proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and is currently studying After Effects, Illustrator and InDesign. She uses both Mac and PC. She has built various websites and blogs on Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and WordPress and written many SEO articles.

BA (Hons) Marketing, C&G Photography, 10 years media sales and management, 10 years business ownership. Published written articles in various magazines and newspapers. Two years of a photojournalism cadetship while simultaneously studying the photojournalism modules of BA Fine Arts in Photography, La Trobe University, Australia. Licensed drone operator, various Lantra wildlife qualifications, and full, clean UK and USA driver’s license. Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Volunteer for the Durham Wildlife Trust, Ware Rivers Trust, and Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
